It was quite an experience to walk through the giant hallways here imagining what it must have been like during the golden years of its existence! It might be an idea to go for an (electronic) audio guide here but take that only if you have time to spend as the explanations can get quite detailed.
If you're looking to see it all lit up, please keep in mind that the illumination is done only on Sundays & public holidays. Another point to keep in mind is that on weekends & holidays, it can get quite crowded towards the latter half of the day.
