முக்கடல் சங்கமம்: Kanyakumari is the southern-most tip of mainland India and is the meeting point of the three seas surrounding India: the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal.
Triveni Sangamam is a unique beach where you witness the Sangamam (meeting) of three seas. It is considered holy to take a dip here. However the beach has been dirtied by the tourist and vendors alike. There should be restriction on sale of food items at the beach and the vendors should be made responsible for collection of litter. Otherwise a must for visiting tourist and the most bubbly place in Kanyakumari. Must visit the Vivekananda temple on the beach.
