Shree Bhoga Nandishwara Temple, Chikkaballapur The original temple in the complex, identified as one of the oldest temples of Karnataka. The temple is located at a distance of 60 km from Bangalore. It is located at the foothills of Nandi hills. The temple dates back to the 9th century as per records. The main deity is Lord Shiva.
The temple has beautiful carvings and is very peaceful. While entering we must remove shoes for which there are shoe stands @Rs. 2 per pair. Crowd was mostly locals and not much even on weekend. Great place for a short drive out of Bangalore.
