Bhutanatha temple complex at Badami, 7th century, with the open hall (11th century) extending to the lake. Agastya lake is a lovely small lake at the foothill of the badami caves and bhootnath temple complex.Surrounded by redstone hills and temples,the setting seems like a movie set.
The inner shrine is believed to have been built by the Chalukyas in the 7th century. At the back of the temple, the avatars of Lord Vishnu and Jain figures are carved. Another attraction near the temple is the Badami cave temples that are a group of four cave temples.
