Thovalai is the place situated in the southern tip of India in Kanyakumari district where the Western Ghats begins here. The area is well known in India for its production of flowers, especially jasmine. Chekkar Giri is the mountain where lord Murugan idol is there inside a cave and almost top of the hill.
