Andal temple at Srivilliputhur is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. This temple is 99th divya desam of the 108 Divya Desams of Lord Vishnu. The main Deities are Andal and Ranga Mannar. You can also visit the birth place of Goddess Andal inside the temple premises.
Ayyanar falls are located in Ayyanar Koil forest area.This falls get their water source majorly during northeast monsoon rain. The water in these falls fall from a height of 15 feet. These falls have derived their name from a small forest temple located besides the falls. The name of the temple is Ayyanar temple and thus, the falls have also acquired the same name.

The name Sathuragiri is derived from the Sanskrit word Chathur, meaning four, and Giri, meaning a hill. According to the Shiva Puranam, the four Vedas (Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda, and Atharvaveda) combined to form this mountain, and hence the name Chathuragiri. The Pilavakkal Dam in Watrap village forms a favorite picnic spot in Virudhunagar. It is used for agriculture and irrigation purposes. The dam is located at the foothills of Western Ghats and is surrounded by green paddy fields on one side. The dam comprises 2 divisions and they are the Kovilar and Periyar Dam.
The Shenbagthoppu Grizzled Squirrel Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as Srivilliputhur Wildlife Sanctuary, was established in 1988 to protect the Near threatened grizzled giant squirrel. This is located mostly in Virudhunagar district and partly in Madurai district.
