Krishnagiri Fort - One day Trip from Bangalore | Syed Basha hills | Krishnagiri places to visit

The effort needed to got top is very high. According to the locals, on Fridays many go up for Prayer. Few hundreds of steps take you up the hill. The fort was built by King Krishnadevaraya of the Vijayanagar Empire. Later it was occupied by many rulers.

One of the strongest forts in the Krishnagiri district and is now one of the monuments protected by the Archaeological Survey of India.

It is located at the bottom of Krishnadevaraya Hills, and the town is fully surrounded by hill rocks. It is located 250 km from Chennai, 45 km from Dharmapuri, and 90 km from Bengaluru.
