Sri Bande Mahakali Devalaya is one of the oldest temple (1200 years old)in Bengaluru. This temple is located in Gavipuram Guttahalli dedicated to Goddess Sri Mahakali one of the most fearful manifestations of the Supreme God. This Temple is situated on a small hillock on the banks of Kempambudhi lake.
Temple Timing : Temple will be opened full day, no afternoon closing hours.
Devotees beliefs that people who is affected by black magic if they come and visit Mahakali 3 days they will get rid from black magic.
History about Bande Mahakali Temple:
Once upon a time a goat shepherd women name was "Nanchamma" , was here to shepherding her goats. She was heard a voice as "Build temple for me" she was looks around there. she thought may be kids made that sound. she left that place. She was heard that same voice on another day so she told villagers and shown that place. Villagers finally found the Mahakali sculpture rock. After that "Nanchamma" did pooja to Mahakali. After fewdays kempagowda who was Cheif Minister of karnataka build this temple for Bande Mahakali.
