Kote Sri Venkataramana Swami Gudi is a 17th century temple dedicated to the god Venkateshwara. The temple was built in 1689 in Dravidian and Vijayanagara style by King Chikka Devaraja Wodeyar, then ruler of Mysore. This temple is located near to Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace.
This temple Garbhagriha has lots of Yali sculpture pillars. There is sanctum of Hanuman,Ragu getu. And also has Glass covered idol of 2 vishnu, hanuman and garuda in entrance of temple. In Hanuman sanctum mantapa ceiling wall has lots of idols which covered by glass mentioned that the moment happened in Mahabharatam and Ramayanam. If u go this temple should see this idols.
