The Sri Subrahmanya Temple is situated in Halasuru, Bengaluru. The temple is close to the celebrated Halasuru Someshwara Temple, and opposite Sri Adhi Vinayaka Temple near Halasuru metro station. This temple is reputed to be more than 800 years old. The deity is also known as Ananda Murugan here. This murugan is looking like Thiruthani murugan(one of murugan padaiveedu)
Well maintained outside pond (theppakulam) also there. Big 26 feet golden statue of Lord Subramaniya looks like Malaysia Muruga. Parking facility also available here.

History about Sri Subrahmanya Temple:
Once the Maharaja of Mysore visited his uncle who was suffering from an eye disease. He saw devotees worshiping at the shrine where this temple is located. He also prayed for his uncle's eye disease. The Maharaja of Mysore built a temple here because he cured his uncle's eye disease.
