Sri Chandra Choodeswara Temple is situated on a small hillock and there is a road leading to the top of the hill 3km from Hosur town. This temple is 760years old and built in 13th century (A.D.1260). New Temple tower is being constructed. Temple has wide parking space and well maintained. We can either drive to the temple or there is a stairs from the base of the hill. There is a small cave temple as well in the middle of the stairways.
The temple where Emadharman(dharma devan) did penance to transform himself into the vehicle (bull) of Lord Shiva.This temple also has idols of Maragathambikai Taiyar, Ganapati and 63 Nayanmars.
We can see lots of pillars inside of this temple. Evening time to visit this temple giving beautiful moments. Hosur town can be seen from top the hill.
Temple Timings: 6:30am to 12:30 & 4:30pm to7:30 pm
