The story of Lord Srinivasan incarnated : திருப்பதி ஏழுமலை ஸ்ரீநிவாசன் அவதரித்த கதை

At one time the sages who wanted to prevent the impending destruction of KaliYuga performed a yaga together. Sage "Bhrigu" thought that he should give the benefit of penance to Shantha Murthy, so he went to Brahmaloka, Kailayam. Enraged by what happened there, the sage went to see Tirumal. Thirumal pretended to be deep in sleep. Unaware of this, Sage Bhriku kicked Tirumal on the chest. But he thought that Thirumal Muni's foot had slipped. Angered by this incident, Mahalakshmi came to Bhuloka.

Vishnu came to earth in search of Mahalakshmi. First Vishu stomp his foot on Srivari Padam in Tirumala. Lord Vishnu wandered around the Seven Hills in a state of unconsciousness.

He sat at the foot of the mountain to protect himself from natural destruction. Krishna's mother and father turned into a ant hill and a tree in the Krishnavatara to protect Perumal who was suffering from cold, storm and hunger. Lord Shiva and Lord Brahma turned into a cow and calf and gave milk to Perumal who was under the tree and satisfied Perumal's hunger. When milk automatically saw the form of the ant hill, cowherd broke the ant hill with his axe and thus Perumal was also attacked. He asked Varahamurthy, who ruled Ezhumalai, for a place to stay.

At last he came to the ashram of "Vaguladevi". Vaguladevi who gave Perumal the name "Srinivasan".

At the same time, Agasarajan was plowing a plot of land to perform a yagna in order to prevent him from having a child. Lotus has the name "Padmam" and hence Agasarajan named the goddess "Padmavati".

When Padmavati and Sreenivasa fell in love, Vaguladevi wanted to get both of them married. Since Padmavati is the daughter of the king, Srinivasa has taken a loan from Kubera and said that he will repay the loan till the end of Kaliyuga.

After the marriage ceremony, Akasharajan said that I have given everything in this world to my daughter as Sridhana. For that, Vaguladevi asked if there was "curry leaf and kanakambaram" and some devotees say that due to the blessing that came, Goddess Padmavati stayed in Thiruchanur. So even today curry leaves and kanakambar are not used in tirupati. Some others are also said to have asked Tirumal for the boon that Goddess Padmavati would bless the devotees from Tiruchanur once Mahalakshmi settled on Vishnu's chest.

Even today, Lord Srinivasaar is believed to visit Tiruchanur Padmavati at night via the Alibiri Path Yatra from Tirupati Hill and return to the hill in the morning to bless the devotees.

Lord Srivasan froze as a statue as Mahalakshmi settled on Perumal's chest. The place where he stood is called Siladoranam. Because the nature and height of Silathoranam rock is similar to the idol of Tirupati Perumal. It is noteworthy that this kind of Silathoranam rock does not exist anywhere in the world.

It is said that hair grows on Perumal's head, the lamp in the sanctum burns without oil, Perumal gets drops of sweat, and Mahalakshmi is seen on Perumal's chest after the abhishekam.

If we worship Srinivasan, Lord of Kaliyuga, he will remove karma and protect us from the destructions of Kaliyuga.
