Bangalore Fort is situated in New Tharagupet, Krishna Rajendra Rd, Bengaluru. This fort is near to Victoria hospital and Government Dental hospital. This Fort began in 1537 as a mud fort. The builder was Kempe Gowda I, a vassal of the Vijaynagar Empire and the founder of Bangalore. Hyder Ali in 1761 replaced the mud fort with a stone fort and it was further improved by his son Tipu Sultan in the late 18th century.
This fort inside we can see the deity Lord Ganesha, Lord Sani. This fort was used for store military weapons. In 1791 Third Mysore war British won, Capture this fort and used for store their military weapons. In that war around 2000 peoples killed. In this fort wall we can see the wall sculpture as Fish, Lion, Lord Shiva Linga ..etc.
