Thiru Aavinnankudi Murugan Temple is situated 1 Km from Palani bus stand,Dindigul district. Devotees beliefs that this temple is the first temple which is third of the Six Abodes of Murugan. Why because Nakkirar in his Thirumurugattrupadai has praised this Sthals as third Padai Veedu. Here we can see main deity is Kulandai Velalyudhaswami sitting on peacock posture.
Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple is second temple which one is third of the Six Abodes of Murugan. This temple is situated on Palani hill. There are 4 ways to climb Palani hill. 2 ways are steps path. Other 2 ways are Rope car and Winch Train. There is free slipper stand in hill ground If you choose step way there is 693 steps to climb from hill ground to top. In 2 step ways select "Elephant path" to climb and the other one use to get down. On the way Idumpar temple, Ganapathi temple, Valliamman temple, water facility, Toilets, Rest Mantapas are there.
In temple Free Dharshan, Special Dharshan -Rs.10 and Rs.100 are there. Food is free from 5AM to 10PM. In Rope car charge per head Rs.50. In Winch Train 3 types of tickets available childens ticket, Rs10 and Rs50.
