Topslip Kozhikamuthi Elephant Camp Middle of Jungle | Pollachi | Feeding Kumki Kaleem, Chinna Thambi
Topslip Kozhikamuthi is the second elephant camp of the Tamil Nadu Forest Department(Anamalai Tiger Reserve ), after the one at Theppakkadu in the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. A place located middle of forest & there are 27 elephants aged from 8 years to 67 years.
Please go in the morning or evening during the time of feeding, it will be a great experience to see them have their meals. I have visited on the first ride morning 7:30 AM. You can see elephant feeding & take picture with elephants etc... As soon as feeding complete most of the elephant will go to Pasture and they keep in the camp only very few elephants 3 - 5. This is the elephant camp has famous Kumki Chinna thambi & Kaleem tusker
