Avvaiyar Amman Temple is situated in Thazhakudi main road, Kanyakumari district. This temple is located 14Kms from Nagercoil and 8Kms from Aralvaimozhi. There is a bus stop infront of this temple.
This temple Opposite side Ganapathi temple and beside Lord Guardian god temple is there. Backside river and hill is there.
Timing: 10 AM to 6-30 PM Pooja Time: 1PM
Tamil Aadi month Tuesdays are considered highly auspicious and special prayers are offered to Avvaiyar Amman. Thousands of devotees visit that days and do pooja with Kolukattai(prepare hereitself).
Unmarried women observe special poojas here for early marriage. Couples who have no child offer prayers and poojas for begetting child.
